Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has praised the Ghana FA’s new five-year partnership with Ghana Football Association performance partner X1, calling it a major step toward strengthening both national and domestic football.
The agreement names X1 as the Official Performance Partner of the Black Stars and the Division One League Super Cup, bringing financial backing, performance products and logistical support.
Speaking at the launch, Simeon-Okraku said the deal arrives at a crucial time as Ghana intensifies preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026. He added that the partnership will enhance team preparation, performance and player welfare.
Beyond the national team, the GFA President stressed the importance of the deal for domestic football, noting that X1’s support for the Division One League Super Cup will directly benefit clubs, players and local communities.
He concluded that the partnership goes beyond branding and will provide key logistics and performance systems to improve efficiency across competitions, as the FA continues its push for long-term football development.
