Eugene Noel Nobel has resigned as General Manager of Ghana Premier League side Swedru All Blacks FC, just days before the start of the 2026/27 season.

Nobel’s departure brings an end to his spell with the Swedru-based club after playing an important role in their return to Ghana’s top flight and subsequent survival during their first season back in the Premier League.

The GFA Executive Council member joined All Blacks during a crucial period in the club’s history and helped oversee their transition following their promotion in May 2025.

Swedru All Blacks ended a 16-year absence from the Ghana Premier League by securing promotion, marking a significant moment for the historic club.

Under Nobel’s administration, the Black and Whites successfully navigated their first campaign back in the elite division and retained their Premier League status.

In his resignation letter, Nobel thanked the club’s board, management, technical team and players for their support and cooperation during his time with the club.

“I am sincerely grateful to the Board and Management for the opportunity to serve the All Blacks family. The experience, support and camaraderie I have enjoyed will forever be cherished. I wish the Club, the technical team and the playing body the very best and continued success in the season and beyond.”

His resignation comes at a crucial stage as Swedru All Blacks prepare for another demanding Premier League campaign.

The club opened the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season on September 6 with a 1-0 away defeat to Basake Holy Stars FC and will now look to secure their first points of the campaign amid the change in their administrative structure.
