Boxing fans in Ghana and across the world are set for a memorable Christmas Day spectacle as Bishop Boxing Promotions and Debbie King Promotions prepare to stage AFRICA GIFT BOX, an international professional boxing event in Accra on December 25, 2026.
The highly anticipated event will be promoted by Bishop Boxing Promotions, led by renowned philanthropist, humanitarian activist and boxing promoter, Dr Dave Bishop, in partnership with Debbie King Promotions, headed by Dr Deborah King, daughter of legendary boxing promoter Don King.
Africa Gift Box is expected to feature an exciting international fight card, bringing together elite professional boxers from several countries for what promises to be a night of high-quality, championship-level action.
Beyond the action in the ring, the event is being positioned as a celebration of sport, culture, boxing heritage, humanitarian leadership and international collaboration.
The Christmas Day promotion is also expected to attract influential personalities from the world of boxing and beyond, as Ghana once again takes centre stage in hosting a major international sporting event.
Dr Bishop, whose work has extended beyond boxing into philanthropy and humanitarian advocacy, is expected to bring his passion for using sport as a vehicle for positive social impact to the event.
His partnership with Dr King, who carries forward one of the most recognised family legacies in professional boxing, adds another significant dimension to the promotion.
Organisers believe the collaboration between the two promotions will help create a unique platform capable of connecting African boxing with the wider international boxing community.
With Ghana increasingly gaining recognition as a destination for major sporting events, Africa Gift Box is expected to provide a major boost to the country’s profile on the global boxing stage while offering fans an unforgettable Christmas Day experience.
Details of the official venue, ticket arrangements, the full fight card and worldwide broadcast plans are expected to be announced in the coming months.
For now, boxing enthusiasts have been given a date to circle on their calendars:
